Michael P. Farris is a constitutional attorney who has successfully argued before the United States Supreme Court. A passionate defender of freedom in education and human rights, Farris was awarded an LL.M. from the University of London in Public International Law with Merit.
Farris is Chairman of the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), the world’s largest association of over 85,000 home educating families and is also Chancellor Emeritus of Patrick Henry College in Virginia. A prolific author, he has been recognized with a number of awards including the Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship by the Heritage Foundation and as one of the “Top 100 Faces in Education for the 20th Century” by Education Week magazine.
He and his wife Vickie are home educating parents.
