Marian was homeschooled from 5th grade through graduation. She didn't like it at first. With her younger brother as her constant annoyance, her parents a pair of complete strangers, and her other three baby siblings running around, homeschooling was hard to enjoy! This dislike, however, only lasted a few months. After graduating high school, obtaining a college degree in communications, and having pursued many of her other interests in the meantime, she became a big fan of the homeschool movement. Marian is currently a photographer, works in the human resources department at her dad's company, and teaches English. She enjoyes studying alternative medicine on her own, as well as marketing and event coordinating—a growing skill that she puts into practice at the homeschooling conferences with which she is involved throughout the year.
