Lincoln Portela

Representative Lincoln Portela is from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais and is in his fifth term as a federal congressional representative in Brazil’s Câmara dos Deputados. He is also a TV host, radio personality, and a lecturer in the fields of family and psychology. Graduating with a theology degree in 1974, he is also a Baptist minister. In the Chamber of Deputies, he has served as the leader of the Republican Party, leading numerous coalitions and committees. In 2011, he proposed a bill to positively impact the homeschool climate in Brazil.
