Karobia Njogu

Committee Member, East African Community of Homeschoolers

Karobia is a homeschooling dad of three sons living in Nairobi, Kenya. He and his family have been homeschooling technically from before his children were born, when shortly after he met the woman who would become his wife, they agreed that they would love to pursue this new way of education. The Njogus have been able to continue with this fun adventure of raising up one's children and using all of life's varied experiences to teach them to become learners who love and serve God, their neighbours and His creation.

Karobia sits on the Steering Committee of the East African Community of Homeschoolers (EACH). One of the key events for this movement is the annual Homeschooling Conference which is convened every second week of January.

He studied general science in university, specifically chemistry and mathematics, and after a very short stint in the business world, went into the faith-based sector. He currently serves in both fundraising and training management roles at CMS-Africa.
